# Organization Settings

Manage organization settings, members, nests, templates, integrations, and billing.

Organization settings let **Owners** and **Admins** manage shared work. Use them to update organization details, members, templates, integrations, and billing.

Only an **Owner** or **Admin** can change these settings. **Members** can view the organization but can't manage it.

### Open Organization Settings

1. Sign in and select the user menu.
2. Select **Organizations**.
3. Select the organization you want to manage.

**Organization Management** opens with settings grouped into menu items.

### Settings Overview

Use the menu item that matches the task you need to complete:

* **Organization Details:** Update the organization's name, abbreviated name, alert email, website URL, and logo. Select Organization Details to open up the left-hand panel.
  * **Subscription & Billing:** View, manage or see history of the organization's subscription. See [Subscriptions](/account-management/subscriptions.md).
  * **Collaborations:** View, manage or invite another organization to access your organization's nests. See below.
* **Members:** Add or remove members, and change their roles. See [Invite your Team](/collaborate/invite-your-team.md), [Member Management](/collaborate/member-management.md) and [Roles](/collaborate/member-management/roles.md).
* **Nests:** View nests the organization owns. To organize them in shared folders, see [Nests](/your-nests/nests.md).
* **Activity:** Generate and export reports on your organization's activity. See [Activity.](/account-management/organization-management/activity.md)
* **Integrations:** Connect credential-based services across organization-owned nests. See [Install and manage integrations](/integrations/install-and-manage-integrations.md).
* **Templates:** Create reusable exclusion reason sets, tag hierarchies, and protocols. See [Organizational Templates](/account-management/organization-management/organization-settings/organizational-templates.md).

### Share With Another Organization

An organization collaboration lets two organizations share selected nests. It doesn't grant access to every nest. See [Creating an Organization Collaboration](/account-management/organization-management/organization-settings/create-an-organization-collaboration.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.nested-knowledge.com/account-management/organization-management/organization-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
